my site

this is my template i ended up with i reckon it's a pretty simple clean modern design, with menu bar as that orange strip there which contains the buttons, about me, gallery and contact. i'll just put all my details and shiz and programs i can use. The gallery contains 3 slide shows for 3yrs of work, 2005-07.

I did some sketches on how the template for my site might look, i reckon a kinda panaramic shape could work well similar to the images i made at high school from what i can remember. Also i thought of a wicked idea of some cool tweens i could use in my site i thought i could this cool bullet effect when u pressed a button, the button slide out and under and turn into the page where all the text goes.

Portfolio

I've decided on making a flash site that i can use as a portfolio. So i've been drawing up typelogos that i could use on my website.

drop down menu

we were given a tutorial on making drop down menus which look bloody great when used, also scroll bars. Hopefully i can use it in my website when we get a chance to start! I wrote down some ideas on wat my site could be on...

i reckon a portfolio of all my artwork would be pretty cool to do and useful at the same time.

masking in flash

today we went through how to mask in flash. Masking is a great effect to use when done properly as John showed on his previous websites he can give them this cool shine effect in a slideshow.

i have to make a website using flash, John will be teaching us drop down menus and movie clips within movie clips within movie clips! sounds confusing but awesome if able to follow his instructions allright.
